Are you interested in both computers and health care? Then working in the fast growing field of health care informatics may be the perfect job for you. Health care informatics focuses on the use of automation to improve health care.

Healthcare is a technology embracing industry. Hospitals, Clinics, and assisted living facilities need workers who understand both computers and healthcare. The Healthcare Informatics program at SRU merges two fields. The University offers both an interdisciplinary and a post-baccalaureate certificate in Healthcare Informatics. Many of the courses are offered through web-based education.
